Migrant Living Solutions

We are involved in the innovation, design and construction of Migrant Housing. We are called to do this in response to the ‘shipping container’ pop up steel shelter system being offered currently from China. We feel innovation is required in this sector and we have not been able to find a current solution that fit our criteria below..…so…..

We have brilliant committed teams working on the following criteria for a solution for our African partner nations.

Objective:

  • Develop a Migrant Shelter Building System for Millions of Refugees in Africa to roll out 1Q 2025 and then around the world.

  • Develop comfortable and sustainable housing options for all Africans in conjunction with Nation leading developers.

  • Emphasize affordability and scalability.

  • Utilize local manufacturing with raw materials sourced domestically.

  • Ensure 100% locally constructed housing, fostering domestic development.

  • Reduce costs through efficient material usage.

  • Simplify construction processes, ideally using a System with prefabricated walls, floors and walls with easy installation of electricity, water and sewage systems .

  • Support the local economy through viable manufacturing opportunities set up in association with Government support.

  • Implement technology innovation such as Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) technology for cost-effectiveness and sustainability.

    Approach:

  • Prioritize affordability and scalability.

  • Emphasize local manufacturing with domestically sourced materials including innovating hemp, cassava and food waste such as fruit peels and nut mulch.

  • Ensure 100% locally constructed housing.

  • Reduce costs and simplify construction processes.

  • Support the local economy through manufacturing opportunities.

  • Utilize and enhance existing building science and tech such as Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) technology for cost-effectiveness and sustainability.

  • It all begins with the creative sensitive idea and design. Its a big question when an opening order isn’t a new housing development in your neighborhood for a few hundred homes that you can build I, a opulent of years, but an in-country solution for millions of people and their families. They need to be built today and lived in next month.

  • It all begins with an idea, a set of criteria and then private and public sector influenced education and collaboration. Influence’s current idea is that the buildings must come from raw materials farmed in-country or region. AND this means no shipping except for the Processing Plants to produce the prefabricated panels and housing systems.

  • This has to be easy and very quick using local labour and job creation.

  • This has to be humane for all of humanity. And this means alternative natural energy power and clean water, and simple sanitation.

    In Tulum our Founders built a luxury hotel off the grid , we brought in water, we cleaned poop with microbes and did not have pump sewage once in 10 years.

    Did our $1,000 a night guests feel they were living in luxury? Yes.

    Does every migrant and refugee and current slum dweller deserve the same? Our answer is Yes. Tomorrow.
